  Contagious definition, capable of being transmitted by bodily contact with an infected person or object Racism definition, a belief or doctrine that inherent differences among the various human racial groups determine cultural or individual achievement   Communicable diseases are caused by pathogens passed from one human to another. Pathogens are viral, bacterial, parasitic and fungal.
