When The Rap Game is Strong

Do you remember The Sugar Hill Gang? Hip-hop dates all the way back to the 1970s, but one of the first smash hits from the genre was by the famous Sugar Hill Gang. The trio undoubtedly made history when their song ‘Rapper’s Delight’ made it into the Billboard Top 40. It was that funky groove that really helped the song stick in people’s heads.

As time moved along and Rappers found they could use their voice and lyrics to address social and personal issues the Rapper Game moved and grew across many areas of the US and abroad. Perhaps that one woman who made him (whoever) he is – he wrote a song about “that bitch” or perhaps he pissed her off and she wrote a song about it, “…I’ll break the windows of your car…”

Some of the comments Marjorie Taylor Green has said:

MTG has said, Obama was a Muslim, Muslims have no place in government, Obama should be hanged along with Clinton, she said Pelosi should be murdered, and Sandy Hook was staged. When she used Dr. Dre’s music to strut through the halls of congress like a high paid prostitute – he called her on using his music without permission and had her banned from Twitter she clapped back with.:

While I appreciate the creative chord progression, I would never play your words of violence against women and police officers, and your glorification of the thug life and drugs.”
